Helping the Environment

Poudre River Stables in constantly striving to protect and nurture the environment.  Some of our practices include:

Gregg repairing the spreader

Protecting tree and plant life from damage by wildlife.

Using older, lighter equipment that is easier on the ground, simpler to fix, and constitutes a form of recycling.

Fighting weeds, such as leafy spurge, by using our resident goats.  We also spray annually.

Planting new seedlings that will help maintain the health wildlife habitat.

Using mosquito drops in tanks and the pond to help keep the mosquito population under control.
